THILOGI TRANSPORT COMPANY INVESTS IN SPECIALIZED VEHICLES
To enhance its transport capacity, THILOGI Transport company has recently put into operation 15 new tractor trucks and 5 specialized cage semi-trailers for the transportation of agricultural products and finished automobiles, bringing the company’s total road fleet to nearly 530 vehicles.
This new fleet investment is part of the company’s strategic plan to standardize routes, transfer stations, and vehicle types according to each route’s characteristics and the nature of transported cargo. Notably, the new vehicles are equipped with Cummins (USA) engines featuring advanced technology and Euro 4 emission standards, offering smooth operation across diverse terrains, improved fuel efficiency, and eco-friendliness.
As part of its 2025 development plan, THILOGI aims to deploy over 370 new transport vehicles, including more than 170 tractor trucks and 200 specialized semi-trailers in various phases. To support this fleet expansion, the company plans to recruit over 280 new personnel, primarily focusing on hiring professional drivers.
In parallel, to meet the growing demand for large-scale specialized road transport services — including reefer cargo, container transport for both domestic routes and international cross-border services connecting Northern Cambodia, Southern Laos, the Central Highlands, Quang Nam, and nearby areas to Chu Lai Port — the company is developing a comprehensive road logistics network.
This includes launching Ba To Transshipment Station (Quang Ngai) on National Highway 24 and Lang Hoi Station (Quang Nam) on National Highway 14E.
At the same time, THILOGI plans to establish the Laos Intermodal Transport Company and the Cambodia Intermodal Transport Company to specialize in route operations, fleet management, and driver allocation. These initiatives aim to strengthen transport connectivity and support THILOGI’s comprehensive logistics service chain, ensuring seamless integration with other logistics services offered by the company
