THILOGI DEVELOPS DRIVERS WITH “DISCIPLINE – INTEGRITY – CIVILITY”
More than just vehicle operators, THILOGI’s drivers embody the company’s professional image and culture as a logistics service provider. Driven by their mission to “deliver value to customers and partners,” THILOGI consistently enhances service quality by developing a driving team defined by “Discipline – Integrity – Civility” as its fundamental and sustained priority.
Building a professional and ethical driving workforce
THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong, emphasized, “Business development is fundamentally human development. THILOGI must cultivate a workforce that serves as brand ambassadors, demonstrating industrial professionalism, setting examples, and civil behavior. Particularly, we must focus on elevating the ethical qualities of drivers based on the principles of honesty and integrity.” His directive serves as the guideline for THILOGI’s driver training and development efforts, aiming to improve service quality and solidify THILOGI as a trusted and professional logistics brand.
The drivers’ meetings are held weekly and montly
There are over 500 drivers at THILOGI tasked with transporting goods domestically and across borders to Laos and Cambodia. The company prioritizes building a disciplined workforce aligned with THACO’s industrial standards while placing strong emphasis on integrity. Drivers are required to comply with legal regulations, operation procedures and principles, and exhibit an upright character. Honesty and discipline are critical elements that have set THILOGI’s driving team apart.
Mr. Chau Ngoc Phuong, an agricultural truck driver, shared, “Been with THILOGI for ten years now, and they’ve really helped me become a dedicated, professional driver. The other drivers and I look out for each other, reminding everyone to follow the traffic laws and stay away from negative activities like stealing, illegal transport, or trying to make personal gains. That way, we protect THILOGI’s name, but it also makes us feel better about ourselves and makes being a driver something to be proud of.”

To cultivate responsibility, discipline, and professional conduct among drivers, the corporation has implemented over 20 training courses on safe driving skills and procedures for transport activities since 2024. Nearly 30 internal communication programs and bulletins have been launched, and drivers signed agreements to commit to professional conduct, compliance with legal regulations, and adherence to corporate policies. Periodic sessions are held to update drivers on new guidelines, share experiences, and raise their awareness and responsibility.
Mr. Bui Van Ca, Head of the Trailer and Truck Repair Team at THILOGI Transportation Company, added, “With the training and those updates we get, we are up-to-date on the newest traffic rules, and we learn a lot about how to handle anything that might happen unexpectedly. And what’s also important is that we learn to be more professional and refined – how we dress, being punctual, how we interact with people, and just having a good attitude towards work.”
Enhancing driver management efficiency at THILOGI
Beyond fostering awareness and a positive work attitude among its drivers, THILOGI has embraced technology to strengthen management processes. The company has implemented a smart driver card system to track vital data such as personnel information, travel routes, driving hours, and delivery status. Besides, a “Traffic Safety” department has been established to ensure the technical safety of vehicles and monitor driver journeys around the clock via a camera system.

“The system’s data is constantly updated, accurately showing the full picture, so the company can really keep tabs on drivers’ work. If there are any violations, they can spot and address them right away, and even suggest ways to prevent them. This makes things much safer, helps everything run better, and improves service quality,” said Mr. Vu Nguyen Thanh Chuong, Transportation Operations Manager.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Tue, an Agricultural Goods Transportation Manager, highlighted, “With nearly 120 drivers operating regularly at border gates and across Laos and Cambodia, the company constantly reminds and updates the team on customs regulations and traffic laws of the host countries. This contributes to building THILOGI’s professional image abroad.”
Since March 2025, the corporation has intensified regular meetups across departments, teams, and groups to commend exemplary drivers, address violations, and enable drivers to share their thoughts and needs. These efforts aim to foster internal culture, support the drivers’ well-being, and strengthen team cohesion.
THILOGI’s investment in driver management, training, and development continues to enhance transportation service excellence, progressively strengthening the company’s market standing and reputation within the logistics industry.
