Chu Lai International Port provides cargo handling, loading/unloading, and tallying services for all types of goods such as containers cargo, bulk cargo, oversized – overweight cargo, liquid and gas, agricultural products, automobiles – motorbikes, spare parts… with large capacity crane system (STS, RTG, Liebherr crane) and modern equipment such as forklifts, reach stackers, Kato cranes… and a system of equipment for releasing bulk cargo: conveyor belts, bottom-dump containers, grab buckets… ensures efficient and effective cargo operations.

Performing cargo handling, loading/unloading, tallying services for imported/exported goods, ensuring cargo remains intact throughout the handling process. Chu Lai International Port puts into operation 02 weighing stations to enhance cargo handling capacity, control load weight, and improve overall service quality at the port.

Tugboat services

Chu Lai International Port owns a tugboat fleet with a total capacity up to 3,800 HP, including Chu Lai Port 01 (1,600 HP) and Chu Lai Port 02 (2,200 HP), support for vessel towing operations at the port.

All tugboats are regular inspection and maintenance to ensure efficient and safe operation.The crew members are professionally trained, certified, and meet required health standards. With a professionally managed system operating 24/7, the port is fully prepared to meet all customer demands promptly and effectively.

Shipping agent & customs clearance services

 Shipping agent services include:

  • Providing information on channel, berth availability, vessel turnaround capacity, and estimated port charges to principals prior to vessel arrival.
  • Carry out procedures for vessel entry and departure, arranging pilots, berths, and coordinating cargo handling operations.
  • Offering additional services according to the needs of vessels calling at the port.
  • Ship and container repair.
  • Charter brokerage and shipping consultancy services.

Berth services

  • Arrange berths for vessels to dock/anchor at the port.
  • Guide vessels in/ out of the berth by port pilots.
  • Dispatch tugboats (if necessary) to assist vessels in safe berthing and unberthing.
  • Receive and release cargo.
  • Arrange handling equipment as required.

Container inspection and repair services

Providing inspection and repair services for various types of containers (dry containers, reefer containers, open top, flat rack, etc.) following IICL standards, ensuring qualified containers for import and export shipments. Our service system operates 24/7, ready to meet customer needs with the best cost and quality.

Warehousing

The warehouse system covers an area of over 300,000 m² with a storage capacity of 500,000 tons, built to international standards with a modern fire suppression system (FPC) and CCTV security monitoring system, advanced order tracking and management software that easily connects to other management systems. The warehouses are divided into specialized zones such as bonded warehouses, general warehouses, CFS warehouses, cold storage, container yards, etc., meeting diverse storage and cargo handling needs.

Apply advanced technologies in management and operation (PLC, VASSCM, etc.) to deliver optimal storage solutions, helping customers enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

SHIPPING ROUTES

In addition to domestic shipping routes connecting cargo from the North and South to Central Vietnam via the Truong Hai Star container ship, Chu Lai International Port has expanded partnerships with major international shipping lines and vice versa, operates direct shipping routes from Chu Lai port to international major ports, including China, South Korea, Japan, and India, connecting to North America, Europe, Australia vice versa— establishing an extensive and efficient logistics and transportation network.
