THILOGI OPTIMIZES COLD CHAIN SOLUTIONS FOR FRESH FRUIT EXPORTS
Vietnam’s agriculture, forestry, and fishery exports surpassed the $70 billion mark for the first time in 2025 and continue to maintain growth momentum in 2026, with a bright outlook for the fresh fruit sector. Alongside market expansion, requirements for quality, preservation, and traceability are becoming increasingly stringent. This necessitates the organization of stable cold supply chains from growing areas to export gateways.
Due to their perishable nature, fresh fruits are highly dependent on temperature conditions throughout the distribution process. However, in key production regions such as the Central Highlands, Southern Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, the cold supply chain still faces many bottlenecks—particularly in cross-border transport connectivity and continuous temperature control from farms to seaports. In this context, establishing a synchronous and seamless cold logistics chain is the focal solution. This system requires logistics enterprises to have the full capacity to organize the entire chain and standardize services, ranging from specialized transport vehicles, reefer containers, and cold storage to international sea freight forwarding.
Furthermore, the Group operates reefer containers with temperature ranges tailored to each product group (approx. 5 – 15°C for fruit and -18°C for frozen goods). Combined with maintaining a stable power supply at the port’s reefer container yards while awaiting vessel loading, this helps minimize cold chain disruptions and ensures product quality upon reaching export markets. At the same time, the application of digitalization in monitoring temperature and transit routes helps businesses proactively control quality in real-time.
In addition to specialized vehicle systems, the infrastructure for warehouses, yards, and seaports has been synchronously invested in to serve large-scale cold cargo. THILOGI is currently expanding its operational capacity by investing in reefer container yards and 3,000 reefer containers, while simultaneously developing an international fleet connecting to major consumer markets such as China and Japan.

In March 2026, THILOGI completed Phase 1 of the solar energy system investment project at Chu Lai International Port. The company also implemented programs to subsidize daytime electricity costs for reefer containers awaiting export, contributing to reduced storage costs and enhanced efficiency for businesses.

In an increasingly competitive market, the cold supply chain has become a mandatory requirement for the export of fresh fruit and refrigerated goods. With solutions organized synchronously from operations to infrastructure, THILOGI is step-by-step perfecting its logistics capabilities to serve fresh fruit export needs, contributing to enhancing the value of Vietnamese agricultural products on the global trade map.
